We are in nice list again!!!

so last year if you remember we were in nice list and Santa came to our home as we were too little. .(psst..wonder why last year Santa looked like our grandpa..)
This year well were are grownup and wanted to party. So we asked santa to host one so we can meet and at the same time have fun being out. Mum dad said if we are in nice list again our wish will be fulfilled.
I guess we were in nice list ....We got invitation from santa ...

As we entered the party we were welcomed with beautiful greeting cards. There were some christmas carol and dance. ... offcourse not to forget yummy yummy donuts holes. Last but not the least got chance to meet Santa (hmm wonder why looked different this time???)...

After the party was over we went home and played with gifts santa gave us.

Trick or Treating @ the mall

After having trial run at Mum's office we knew what to expect on Halloween. We put in our dresses again except one of instead of being a princess was a witty witch.

Went to Halloween party in the mall. It was fun running around and getting candies again.

Once the mall trip was over we knocked our neighbors to keep up with the trick or treat tradition.

By the time we were back our bag was filled with candies. Just when we were about eat the candies our mean MOM came took the candies away from us

obviously It was not fair even if has a valid explanation BECAUSE we earned it and it was ours..


Any how decided not to waste energy arguing with her instead have agenda rest of the month searching for it and getting back what is OURS!!!!

Halloween Friday

Halloween already one us dressed up as Tigger and other one as Princess Cinderella ( who might have guess already who was tigger )

We looked pretty sweet and while enjoying the spotlight with photo sessions from ammama, appa and Dad.. received a call from mum inviting us to her office.

At first we were reluctant but she promised it will be fun.. so believed and went to office..

lo behold.. the her office was like candy store and toy house.. everyone were giving us candy and inviting us to play with toys.



Then we were invited to do a bird house. We both completed it with the help of appa. to add to out joy of hitting the hammer and nailing bird house we were awarded certificate of achievement for the same.


Now we truly doubt if mum goes to work or have fun... if is later better she takes us everyday...as it is not fair to have all the fun.

Our Cousin Nikki

It was nice to see Nikki Again visiting us. We had a blast; we fought, we played and ran around. Then we made a trip to pumpkin picking. We saw some pumpkin which we planned to take home but before that we petted sheep and went for a maze.
When it was time to go we tried to pick up our pumpkin but It was too heavy for three of us :(

Since we couldn;t pick it and our folks refused to help we decided to leave it until next year when we will be stronger and bigger.

Nikki taught us it is more fun to drink stuff in sippy glass than bottle we are used too.

also she taught us some stuff to deal with my Mom Dad when they don't listen.

We shared stories of fun stuff we did when Mathvie our other cousin visited us.


finally it was day to say bye to nikki as she wanted to go back to meet her friends at her school.

We let her go after taking a promise that she will come back to see us.
hope we see her soon.

Who are digital Natives???

.. Duh We are!!!.. So Mum Dad have this TV which changes its color tone and music from press of the button on gadget called remote sitting right in his hand.
We have been watching them using it from the time we were born. We have trained them to change the channels we like to watch… no complains there… but we wanted to do that by ourselves.. When we realized they wouldn't part with it…We came with a game plan.

So I (Jovan) changed the remote code which disabled it and became useless. Dad, mum, ammama, appa tried fixing it but in vain.. they kind of started forgetting about it.. So I(Mahi) took this opportunity to take in charge,,, First I enabled the remote and started controlling it. It was fun.. we both took turns to play with it.. the fun didn’t last long until mom discovered we fixed the remote. She gave us a happy hug and took back the remote.
She kept asking how we did it.. we didn't say much except let her enjoy remote and tell her that things which takes a whiles for digital immigrants like her and Dad are piece of cake for digital natives like us. Learn from us...

Working on a Puja Bill.. Need your support

This is Mahi. We went to Temple for a looooooooooooooooooong puja.. god looked pretty and I loved the devotional song as I was able to sing along with them.
Then my eye caught on fruit offered to god. it was just delicious. everyone said I had to wait till the ceremony gets over. I couldn't wait so I just went right ahead and took one with gods permission .
It was yummy.. I guess the puja ceremony agenda should change.. with fruits should be offered to nice girls like me so that we can have the energy to go through the ceremony , sing and dance; Currently working on a bill on the same. Hopefully it will get passed soon.

FUN around the corner - Brushy creek Hairyman Festival

We went to hairy festival with our folks it was fun. Dad took us for a train ride in train. We saw how the fuel was filled in the train. It was fun.

while on train ride we danced for the song sung by local talent. We are planning to have our own concert pretty soon.

then Appa found petting Zoo. he took us there and wanted us to pet pigggy, quack quack ducky; but mommy daddy stopped us from touching the, We were pretty mad at our primitive parents who are such a spoil sport.

But later Ammama explained we have to get bigger to touch this animals else there are chances we might get sick.. which is not good as we wouldn't able to play.

We completed our trip after getting a cartoon drawn for us. We will be posting our cartoon us. Should say we look pretty cool

Visit to Zoo

Heard lot about the animal kingdom from our folks, TV and book. Finally had a chance to have glimpse in Zoo.
it was awesome. went near alligators who were behind glass chilling in water. Then we saw majestic lions, Zebra , and lion.

We loved the Lemur island where there were free spirited monkeys. Monkeys are so lucky as their parents are soo nice; unlike ours who say no to running around and having fun ;)
then we went to Nemo land.. saw lots Nemo and their friends. Ammama Appa and Dad showed them all. We wanted to swin along with them..


Then Dad and appa took us to see snakes.. they were cool one day we will have them as our pets if mom does not freakout!!!

Rakhi

As some of you know it is second rakhi for me. Mahi tied nice rakhi; i still owe her a rakhi gift.

My cousin Amari visited mahi and I . We had a blast with her. She tied rakhi and later posted her custom rakhi.

It is awesome to have this festivals which puts me in spotlight and get a chance to wear pretty bands around my wrist.

Running away

This is Jovan and I am tired of all toys and boring adults. So I packed my bag, opened the door and started running out. I asked Mahi to join but she refused.

The day was pleasant; the outside world was welcoming me to come enjoy everything is has to get discovered. I was running as stealthy as possible so that i don't get caught. I started dreaming of amazing stuff i will see and people I will meet.

I was this close to succeed until my mom caught me. She was mad . She took me inside and threatened if I dare to do again something like I will be getting my time out. She promised if I'm good she take me to places i would enjoy.
Couldn't do much !!!Well for now I will listen to her BUT WILL VENTURE OUT IF SHE DOESN'T KEEP HER PROMISE.

Fun with Ammama and appa

It is fun going to mall with ammama & appa. We have a new routine. we go to mall every other day. have fun in kids gits with ammama appa running after us to play with us slides, hide n seek then they take us for a carousal ride.
we complete our trip with the spinning of wheel to get some gifts.(pss : Dad found about the spinning wheel game.. kudos to him)
At times ammama take us for yummy ice creams and chicken nuggets. can't wait to do more fun stuff with our folks…

Little Gym here we come

We were getting tired with adults and wanted to spend time with folks of our age. Our parents understood and enrolled us in little gym. It was nice for a change to meet folks of our age and spend time with those having similar wave length as ours .

They agreed with us adults don’t have as much knowledge as we do to have fun and enjoy life the way it is.

Guess we should teach them.. in-between discussing how to help our parents we enjoyed playing in the gym, dancing to the songs , climbing stairs, doing rollovers;

The only grudge we have though is we should have these classes at least thrice a week instead of just once on Saturday . Also wish the timing were little better so that we don’t have to getup early.

Off to Houston again

It was a sad and happy day for us.. Happy because we were heading to Houston.. did we say we love to travel ;) Sad because our cousin nethra and akshara were leaving to India.

While dad went to drop our cousins in the Airport We enjoyed by staying in hotel with mommy near the hotel pool and roaming around to see other nice hotel amenities like play area, Vending machines, indoor pools.

Costco here we come

So dad took us to Costco along with our cousins , athai , ayamma and ayappa. It was fun. we had a trolley ride; our cousins sped up the trolley so it was fun .

The best thing about Costco is the samplers which are soo yummy.. wonder if there are soo many fun stuff to eat why our folks doesn't let us have all?
Good we had nethra akshara around who understood us and gave samplers. It was yumm ..will be going home and will be asking ayamma to make those for us at home.

Mahithi the Star singer

So you think you can sing ??? wanna compete with me !!!! ... I'm into singing nowadays!!! Should say I'm a crowd puller ... I can sing and modulate my voice as per the mood and situation.

Iam learning to get the best out of western and carnatic. Will post my singing video soon.

Until then get ready for the challenge with next biggest singing star on the era...

Joey and Stair climbing.

I keep hearing people yapping about rock climbing ...Big Deal... what fun it is climbing something with all harness to protect..try stair climbing! it is adventurous as u don't have any gear which will protect you from getting toppled down and good exercise to build your six pack.

Then when I get bored climbing I run and which is so liberating should say... Wonder why they don't have baby 5k.. I guess i have start one to quench my thirst for activities like this. Hope to see more of these kind of fun stuff coming my way !!!

Our Cousins Visit

Our Cousins and my Laxmi Athai visited us. It was nice of them to take time and come all the way from Bangalore to just see us. We had tons of fun with Nethra and Akshra Akka(s). We learnt some nice old folklore from then which has been sang for generations to everyone when they were babies like us.

We 4 Sang along so well that when we used to sing it used to be synchronized.




American Idol here we come...

And we brushed our teeth

We have two teeth and one is on it way. It is painful but we are withstanding it as it will help chew tasty food Ayamma is making for us..

Our teeth is very white and bright and we were worried about maintaining it. Mum came to our rescue by brushing our teeth with tasty stuff called paste.
Are we supposed to spit it out ???!!!!. but for now we prefer eating it :)

Looking forward to brushing our precious teeth everyday and keeping healthy for pouncing tasty stuff coming out of kitchen.

அயம்மா & அயப்ப விஸ்ட் டு ஆஸ்டின்

Our Ayamma and Ayappa showed up .. it was fun to see them in person. We have been talking to them over phone now it was fun seeing them Just like ammama appa they also got us lots of goodies.

we are getting nice idlies and biscuits .. it is very yummy.

Good to know if mum dad don't behave and get us what we want there are our grand parents we can rely on
