Food Drive Updates...

We are happy to say that along with our friends we were able to be achieve $500 through our online drive and 171 lbs of food cans by going door to door

While going door to door we not only collected cans but also spread awareness to fight childhood hunger in Texas.

This whole experience was a eye opener for us . We understood the importance of not wasting food and age is not a limit if we have good family , friends,  set our mind and energy to help.

Food Drive For Capital Area Food Bank of Texas

When our teacher told you can take action to bring positive change; this inspired us to start a food drive with our cousin and friends Nikki, Maanav, Ambika, Ria, and Aman for some Texas Kids who need help to stop worried about food and enjoy this awesome holiday season.

 You might wonder does Texas have kids who need help to be fed?? we were too until we went for a tour at Capital Area Food Bank of Texas; they said they serve 46000 Texans. That is a huge number.

Through our food drive we want to join in hands with all the Texans who can help take care of fellow Texans needing support. 

We were overwhelmed with the support we got so far and wanted to give and update and spread the news of our food drive for other Texans who would want to join and help us.

India Trip

Went for a month to India Trip.. It was rocking.. The best part of the trip was the last 2 weeks we were able to spend only with Dad. Mum had work so had to leave early so less of her trying to tell us what to do..

Each year our Birthday is unique.. This year we decided to Celebrate with our friends at YMCA.

   

While we are celebrating with our friends in Austin .. ammama appa were celebrating with our friends in India whose parents are not near them

Visiting Dallas

We Went to Dallas to  to bid farewell to Deepa Periamma and be there for Balaji as he will be missing his mommy

While we were in Dallas we realized Shruthi and Swati ( our two more cousins) have moved to Dallas for good.

we were super excited.. We have a big gang in Dallas now... Balu, Nikki, Maanav, Shruti and Swati.

We played with shruti , swati. The we went to  splash pad with Nikki and Maanav. We forced balu to join the fun by us moving to deeper pool. Balu had to get down to protect us .. he he he.

then Swati and Shruti joined us at Nikki Maanav home .. to have non stop fun..

Our First Field Trip

We went to our first Field trip through YMCA to Mayborn Museum, Waco Texas

Mum did not allow us to go first; then we convinced by asking her to follow our bus. She agreed.

Eventhough they followed us .. they kept themselves invisible so we don't feel embarrassed and can have fun with our friends.

It was one field trip we will not forget; looking forward to more..

YMCA Camp

This year since we are going to India; amamma didnt come for this summer..

after the school were over.. we got bored so we asked mum to have us in YMCA with our friends..

What a way to enjoy Summer.. !!!

Deepa Periamma's Visit

Deepa Periamma came to Visit Balu.. and we didnt miss this opportunity to spend time with her.

It is always nice to have periamma around... they are cool. even though we spend just a weekend with her.. it was fun.. looking forward to her next visit

Graduated from Kinder

Yay we graduated from Kinder.. going to 1st this year.. We are sooo excited..

WHAT WE ACHIEVED IN KINDER.. A LOTT.

1) WE CAN READ CHAPTER BOOKS.. LOVE GETTING LOST IN WORLD OF BOOKS
2) ADDITIONS, SUBTRACTIONS, MULTIPLICATION BY 2, 3, 5, 10  PIECE OF CAKE !!!
3) CHEMISTRY.. A BIT.. WE KNOW WATER IS MADE OF H20

We hope our 1st grade is as fun as Kinder

It was an much awaited moment.. even though we couldnt take lots of snaps it was fun to dance with our parent and teach them some of our cool moves..

Graduated 2nd year at Tamil School

We graduated 2nd year at tamil School.. We are very proud of our selves.

We can now Write the alphabets in Tamil, tell the water animals, vegetables and colors in tamil... isnt it cool?

Agni Performance

I Jovan performed this year without Mahithi.. Well felt little sad she didnt join.. but I guess it was ok.. as i wanted to bollywood and this year she wanted to Bhrathnatayam

Math Pentathalon...

Kinder was a busy year.. Besides celebration, Party volunteering and school activities we participated in Math Pentathalon.. . it was fun..

Spelling Bee Contest

Besides Partying we also do some other stuff like participating in Spelling  bees.

It was fun.. I Jovan won the contest. I Mahithi lost in the second round to Jovan.. but was proud of my self for making through first round.. which had more 30 kids..
