Farewell to Challenger

Our 2 year in Challenger came to end..

It was a fun 2 year.. we not made tons of friends but also learned a lot.. though we are going to miss challenger . We are excited for kinder..

JUNE 22 best day of our year.. our BIRTHDAY!!!

This year was special .. we had our periamma, ammama along with all my favorite folk..
we were missing appa, ayyama and ayaappa,, wish all can come..

While we were celebrating in US.. Appa was celebrating our bday in india with kiddos in india whos mommy and daddy are not near them..

We are in Pre-k 2 .. as we neared the end of Pre-k 2. amongst various celebration we had opportunity to get a spotlight  in front of our class. Spotlight is an awesome event in Challenger where the bday girl/boy are made to sit in front of the class and get to share their favorite thing with their friends . End of the spot light they get an awesome happy bday wish from their friends and teacher.

It is soo great to be in a school where we can get used to having a kick start on our bday celebration before our real bday

Completed 1 year in Tamil School ...

Completed a year in Tamil School.. and it was cherry on the top to receive our certificate from amamama

Ammas visit to Austin

As we neared our Bday we remembered ammama promise to visit us for our bday party. As we were thinking she is going to forget...mum announced ammaa's plan to visit  us.. we were in cloud 9..

Amamma is fun.. the first day she played with us and we did yummy grape juice with her.
This is summer is going to be fun with her around us... 

Celebrating Tamil New Year

We are Americans with Indian Heritage.. In India my family comes from a beautiful Southern state Tamil Nadu.. Tamil Nadu has a unique or should we say a festive culture The year is filled with tons of fun filled celebration; amongst many we Celebrate Tamil New Year in April. We are still researching to figure out why we have separate new year date.. anyways for now we are just glad there is one as we can have tons of fun.... parttyyyyy with our Friends he he he

Meeting Niki Maanav any day is like a party.. This year we also had Balaji Join us.. it was soo much fun!!!..And if there visit is close our of our Birthdays !!! do you think we will miss the opportunity to party with a CAKE !!!!
Glad we have  such a fun family in Texas and india.. Just wish we can be near them always!!!
